Welcome!

Welcome to MomLife: Between Shifts — a real-life break room for moms doing it all between work and home.

Here’s what you’ll get when you stick around and subscribe:

This is a space for working moms, single moms, co-parents, and bonus moms who are juggling shifts, school runs, emails, emotions, and everything in between — and who want a place to feel seen, supported, and a little less alone.

If you’re juggling jobs, kids, and schedules while also managing emotions, relationships, and coworkers — you’re in the right place. This blog is for moms who love their families deeply, feel stretched thin, and are still trying to hold onto a little piece of themselves in the process.

Think of this as your break room between shifts — a place to sit down, exhale, and be honest for a minute.

  • Quick, realistic recipes and ideas to get everyone fed on busy days.
  • Real, honest conversations about work, home, and everything you’re carrying — without pretending it’s all together.
  • Supportive space to talk about kids, relationships, and co-parenting in ways that feel honest and validating.
  • Encouragement and tips for single moms and blended families finding their own rhythm.
  • Gentle, faith-rooted reminders that you’re doing better than you think — never any judgment.
  • Stories and reflections that sound a lot like your own, so you feel less alone in the chaos.

When you subscribe, you’ll get these kinds of stories, tips, and honest updates delivered right to you — so you always have a little break room waiting between shifts.

Because mom life doesn’t clock out — and you shouldn’t have to carry it by yourself. I’m really glad you’re here.

About Me

My name is Cate. I’m a mom to a beautiful, smart daughter that God blessed me with, and a proud bonus mom to another bright, beautiful girl. I’m also engaged to an amazing man — my answered prayer and my happily ever after — and we’re getting married this year. Between parenting, planning a wedding, and working, I know what it feels like to be pulled in a hundred directions, and that’s exactly why I created this space.

Or, if you’d like to know more about who I am and what led to this space, you can click “Learn More” to read my story.
